Filarmonía de Xalapa

Xalapa concert

Jessica is overjoyed to have been the monthly resident guest artist with the Filarmonía de Xalapa in Veracruz, Mexico, where she lead Masterclasses for the local students, and performed a concert of arias with the orchestra, under the baton of Maestro Jorge Vazquez. She was thrilled to experience the amount of appreciation this city has for classical music (so much that many families brought their children!), and to have been featured in various print and online media sources. There is much hope for a thriving future of classical music and opera in Xalapa, and Jessica is honored to have been a part of it!

“Something Blue: The Bachelor Opera”

Something Blue photo

Jessica co-stars in new original dark comedy Something Blue: The Bachelor Opera, the second opera-film collaboration in the series of The Rainy Park Opera Co.‘s groundbreaking new genre of media.

Something Blue: The Bachelor Opera is another misguided love story, unpacking everything that’s totally bizarre about reality dating & marriage shows. [Scott] Joiner sings the role of the Bachelor, and soprano Jessica Fishenfeld is his new – and perfect – bride.

…there’s great singing, and attention to detail that keeps you watching.”
